Lil Bub, who was the runt of her feral litter, is considered a “perma-kitten,” meaning she will always have kitten-like features no matter how old she gets. She is also a dwarf, meaning her limbs are disproportionately small relative to the rest of her body. And she doesn’t have any teeth but that doesn’t stop her from having a healthy appetite for both dry and wet food. Despite all of these issues, she hasn’t let any of them stand in her way. Lil Bub is a published author, a talk show host, the star of an award winning documentary, has helped to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for special needs pets via the ASPCA, has an album and apparel line, and even an upcoming video game! So while it might sound like this kitty has gone through a lot, and don’t get me wrong – she has, Lil Bub is a fighter and will always land on her paws with the help of her “dude”, Mike! Read this article to see how electromagnets ultimately saved her life.
Nothing stops this cat from hiking. Not even the inability to see! Meet Honey Bee, a rescue kitty who loves nothing more than to go hiking with her humans. Whether on her owner’s shoulders or her leash Honey Bee can’t get enough of the outdoors. From listening to the water to all of the good smells this cat is up for any challenge that involves an adventure. While now living in Seattle this feline friend was actually adopted in the island country of Fiji by a volunteer. Follow the link above to watch a video of one of her more recent mountain hikes to Mason Lake just outside of Seattle. Cats really are a curious breed!
Venus isn’t just a cat. Nope, she is a cat with very special characteristics. Characteristics that have nicknamed her “Two-Faced”. But in a good way as Venus’s face is half orange tabby and half black, with one green eye and one blue eye. Never have I seen a more beautiful cat – just take a look! It’s still a mystery as to how she has these traits – some say she has different DNA on each side of her body, a chimera. What do you think?!
Get ready for a PURRRFECTLY good time. This Monopoly meets cats game is a great time for cat lovers everywhere. From Russian Blues to British Shorthairs – collect them all to win! And instead of houses you buy litter boxes, which you might also have to clean. Choose your game piece, from a sardine tin to a ball of wool to a fish, and try not to get thrown into the water (instead of jail) while you’re enjoying hours of kitty themed fun!
This is a wonderful story of not judging a book by its cover. Meet Monty, a handsome little guy with a very unique face. He was born without a nasal bridge bone due to a chromosomal abnormality, and while it does make him sneeze a bit as well as cause a few other minor issues, he doesn’t let that stand in his way. Monty doesn’t pick fights with other cats and his favorite spot to be is in his dad’s lap. What a true inspiration!
