According to the White House Press, a first cat will be joining the first dogs in the white house soon. Dr. Jill Biden has been quoted, “I’d love to get a cat,” Dr. Biden gushed in an interview with Fox 5 DC. “I love having animals around the house.”

Just three months into his trip, Dean came across an unexpected stranger that would change his life forever.
What was supposed to be a one-person bike journey across the world quickly flipped upside down when a special furry feline joined in on the party. Meet Nala, a kitten who was determined to travel the world alongside Dean, did just that – traveling to Istanbul, Azerbaijan, and Greece to name a few places. Now mind you, this wasn’t a motorcycle that Dean was riding but a bicycle. And as for Nala, well, she sat in a makeshift basket up front, careful to not miss anything as the sights rolled past her eyes. You can read more about their adventures here. The WFIE’s 14 News team meteorologist has hired on a new co-host while abiding by the stay at home orders put into place. Who is his new co-host you ask? Well, it’s none other than his cat, Betty. You heard me right. Ever since Jeff started broadcasting his weather reports straight from his own living room (with the help of a green screen), Betty, now known as Betty the Weather Cat, has been helping her dad out.
This furry feline sure does like the spotlight though, as seen in this article chock full of warm fuzzy videos of Betty and her furdad forecasting the weather. It definitely looks like this now famous kitty is loving the newfound attention!
Halloween is just around the corner which means ghosts, zombies, and vampires are too, right? Perhaps but this costume-wearing, treat-giving, party-throwing evening doesn’t have to be all scary. Just like this October 31st celebration is misconceived our feature feline is too, at first sight. Meet Lazarus, nicknamed the Vampire Cat, who was born with a cleft palate which left him without an upper lip or the soft padding of his nose along with protruding lower teeth. While this rescue kitten might look frightful at first glance Lazarus is just a big softy who squeaks from time to time. Not to mention he is also a trained therapy cat with his mom, Cindy Chambers, a special education faculty member at East Tennessee State University. Moral of the story: don’t judge a book by its cover.
