Tigger bravely chases off bear
A two year old Bengal in North Vancouver, has regularly scared off even the biggest dogs, and bravely faced a bear this month. The cat named Tigger, was found by his owner Gavin, chasing a black bear in the driveway. Even though Gavin called out to Tigger, he ignored him. Gavin said, “Tigger, he stood his ground and then the bear stepped back. And then the bear turned around, did a full 180 and Tigger chased after him. Storytime at the shelter
Acadiana Animal Aid shelter brought together cats and kids to help strengthen the community and boost cat adoptions. Kids ranging from ages 5 to 10 come to the shelter every Saturday to play and read to the cats that are waiting for their forever homes. This also helps the kids become more confident in their reading skills because “The kitties don’t judge”.
