These are foods that cats should never eat and why.
Dairy foods such as milk, cream, or cheese
Despite the pop-culture image of a cat lapping up a bowl of milk or cream – cats are actually lactose intolerant after they are weaned. They can only occasionally partake and you should be warned that it could be followed by gas and diarrhea.
Ham and other cold cuts that are high in salt are not good for your cat, although they can eat a little bit without getting sick.
Like dogs, cats cannot eat chocolate as it is toxic and can be deadly. Chocolate contains theobromine and can cause abnormal heart arrythmia, tremors, seizures, and even death – especially dark chocolate and baking chocolate. Don’t think your cat is safe with white chocolate, it carries the same risk.
