A new article from The New York Times reiterates what cat owners have known to be true for a long time: That cats really do love humans! A study published in the journal Behavioural Processes gave 38 cats a choice between a toy, food, a smell (such as catnip), or human attention. Half the cats chose human interaction, while 37% chose food. So, you see, they really do like being around us!
