When a pet passes, it’s definitely emotionally difficult to move on. But New York Magazine reports that cats are living longer than ever before, which is good news. According to an article they published July 8, the average life expectancy for our feline friends is now 15 years. This is up from the single digits life expectancy from a few years ago, writes the publication. It makes sense—given our obsession with healthy food and fitness, our cats have never been healthier.
