Two British Cats Are Duking It Out

On the heels of Britain’s Prime Minister, David Cameron, leaving office, the cat that resides at 10 Downing Street, Larry, is battling it out with Palmerston, the feline who lives at the Foreign Office. LOL.


The New York Times reports that Larry and Palmerston are in a turf war. Larry has lived there since 2011, but Palmerston has only been there since April.

So who will reign supreme? Only time will tell.

You HAVE to See These Incredible Cat Paintings

Russian artist Svetlana Petrova has done something pretty darn cool: She took classic paintings and added her very fat orange cat, Zarathustra to them.

“Zarathustra likes posing and is a really intelligent cat,” Svetlana told The BBC. “He likes to lie on his back and make strange faces like he’s speaking with somebody, so I began to take photos of him and inserted them into paintings.”

Cats Is Back on Broadway!

If you’re a cat lover, chances are you’ve seen (or at least listened to the soundtrack) Cats, the musical written by Andrew Lloyd Webber and inspired by the poetry of T.S. Eliot.

Cats tells the story of a tribe of felines who are gathered for an annual ball. It’s full of magic and memorable music (we bet you know the words to “Memory” and “Jellicle Cats,” right?)

The show is now back on Broadway in New York City, starring singer Leona Lewis. We highly recommend checking it out! You can buy tickets at catsthemusical.com.

Cats of Instagram Is Coming Out with a Book

Our fave Instagram account, Cats of Instagram, is coming out with their very own book on August 2 (you can pre-order it on Amazon!). The book is a compilation if 400 super cute photos they’ve posted over the years. This would make the perfect gift for yourself or the cat lover in your life!
